Education Qualification:

• A B.Tech. or M.Tech. degree in biomedical, electrical, chemical, or similar engineering, from accredited colleges or universities with a strong academic record, is required of the candidate. The candidate needs to be familiar with the fundamentals of programming and MATLAB data analysis.

Job Description:

• The MUSE Lab at IIT Gandhinagar is hiring a Project Research Scientist-I for a project that is supported by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). The Project Research Scientist-I will specifically carry out biomedical research with an emphasis on imaging for tissue characterisation and ultrasonic therapy. Opportunities to work both individually and as a member of a multidisciplinary team of biologists and biomedical engineers will be presented by the role. The candidate needs to have a strong interest in biomedical research, be self-motivated, and be independent. Along with career assistance, the fellow will receive comprehensive training and supervision in scientific communication and biomedical ultrasound research procedures. Pay Scale:

• INR 56,000 per month (+ 9% HRA if not availing on-campus accommodation) as per ICMR norms
