Step: 1
Registration will remain on the GCAS portal. Dt. Registration on GCAS portal will start from 01/04/2024. Link for Registration on GCAS Portal: https://gcas.gujgov.edu.in
Step: 2
After registering on the GCAS portal, the student will have to upload his/her basic information and required documents on the portal (eg.LC, mark sheet, caste certificate, income proof, student’s photograph and signature etc…) and select the college to study. will continue to give; Online fee (Rs. 300) has to be paid and application has to be submitted final.
Step: 3
After registering on GCAS portal, document verification will be done at the nearest help center.
Step: 4
A Provisional Merit List will be prepared by the University for the admission process through (Entrance Examination / Provisional Merit List) as per the norms fixed by the University and the Provisional Merit List will be announced simultaneously by each University.

Step:5
If there is any grievance regarding the Provisional Merit List prepared by the University, then after the publication of the Provisional Merit List, on the 2nd day, he will have to go to the University / College Grievance Cell and present it.
Step: 6
Final merit list and allotment will be announced by the university / college after the alloted grievance day-2.
Step: 7
Students have to pay the fees as per the instructions of the college or university to which they have got admission.

Important Notice for Class 12 Students
To notify all students who have taken the class 12 exam, the Gujarati government has established the Common Admission Portal (GAS) for those who wish to enroll in college. Students must complete their online registration by 5/4/24.
The admissions registration process must be completed as described below.
By going to any competent computer facility…
Open the GCAS website first.
Next, select Apply Now from the upper right corner.
The kid should then provide his name and birthdate in the details that appear, following the format on his class 10 mark sheet.
Make sure to write your category well.
The student’s email address needs to be entered there. (If you don’t already have an email address, make one.)
Enter your permanent mobile number here.
You will need to input separate OTPs on your email address and mobile number after completing this.After your registration is complete, you will receive a notification on your email and mobile device.

Eventually, a message will arrive at your email address including a User Name and Password, which you must always remember to enter carefully.
For the purpose of the college’s subsequent admissions process, you must keep this User Name, Password, and Email ID safe. Failure to do so will prevent you from participating in any further steps, so please take this seriously.
Currently, just the registration process as indicated above needs to be completed.
